In addition, there are specials on Friday and Saturday where you can enjoy a snack and drink at the bar. For example, on Friday evening there is a “Happy at the bar” special where all “I love to share” appetizers, including a beer or house wine. On Saturday there is a happy hour with a 50% discount on all cocktails and wines by the glass from 17:00 to 19:00. Delicious in combination with the Hors d’oevres, which are served at the expense of the house. These specials are of course served alongside the new menu.

A few days a week it can happen that giant cruise ships are moored next to Karels, really an impressive sight. It is recommended to experience the Happy Hour at Karels Beach Bar. It is held every day from 17:00 to 19:00. You pay 15 $ for a bucket of beer and it is very nice.

Tripadvisor has awarded Bobbejan’s for the years 2016-2019 the “certificate of excellence” for the tender, wonderfully marinated, perfectly prepared spare ribs. So if you are on vacation on Bonaire, you rent a holiday home and you do not feel like cooking or going out for dinner one evening. Take Away at Bobbejan’s is certainly a good alternative. Many people call their orders in advance, arrange a pick-up time and spend an evening enjoying their spare ribs on the beach or at home by the pool! Bobbejan’s BBQ, also highly recommended!

At Sea also has an extensive wine list with wines from regions from all over the world. The great creativity with which dishes are prepared is unprecedented. The presentation of dishes is a picture and all different flavors have a clear function in the whole. The standard check-out time on the day of departure is at 12:00. However, it is possible to use the accommodation for a fee of half a day up to 20:00. However, this option is only possible in consultation and when the holiday villa is not rented on the relevant day of check-out. When this option is announced to us in advance, it will be included on the invoice. If it is decided to use the late checkout during the holidays, the amount will be deducted from the deposit.
Breakfast first morning & Grocery service:
You can also opt for breakfast on the first morning after arrival. Due to the time difference and the sometimes late arrival of the flight you will notice that you wake up early. It is nice that our breakfast service brings a fresh breakfast around 08:00.

Coffee, tea & (ice) water is standard in the villa. A wonderful start of the first morning.
Linen:
One set of (bath) towels, consisting of two large and three small towel, and one set of bed linen, consisting of one duvet, pillowcase and fitted sheet, are included per person. Multiple sets possible on request. A washing machine is available for when there is a need to run a laundry.
Layout bedrooms:
Villa Cas Maya has a total of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate toilet.
All bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquitoscreens.
The master bedroom is no less than 18m2 and has a spacious ensuite bathroom, including a sink with two wash basins, a spacious walk-in shower with rain shower and a private toilet. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed measuring 180 x 210 cm. You will also find two wardrobes, one of which has a full-length mirror and a hotel safe.
The two other bedrooms each measure 12m2 and they share a private, spacious en-suite bathroom with a sink with two wash basins and a spacious walk-in shower with rain shower. The doors of this bathroom are equipped with locks so that, if desired, privacy is guaranteed. (Incidentally, all bedroom doors in Cas Maya are also equipped with locks) These two smaller, yet spacious bedrooms are standard furnished with two single beds, dimensions 90 x 200 cm. Each bedroom also has a spacious open wardrobe.
If desired, we can easily adapt the arrangement of the two single beds into an arrangement with one double bed.

Villa Cas Maya is a spacious six-person (max. Eight people in consultation) villa with swimming pool and is located on Bona Bista, a quiet and well-secured residential area with a central location on the island. Because of this location everything is close by and with a 5 minute drive you are in the center of Kralendijk or Rincon. The holiday home has a cozy living room and an open kitchen with breakfast bar. By opening the mahogany shutter doors you move the porch into the kitchen and the living room, creating a spacious, comfortable living space.
It is certainly comfortable on the porch with a hammock to relax in. The eight-seater dining table is a good place to dine with family and friends until the early hours. The spacious lounge sofa is ideal to start your day relaxed with a cup of coffee and a good book. From the veranda you have an unobstructed view of the kunuku and the hills and in the early morning it is even possible to view honey-seeking hummingbirds from centimeters away in the tropical garden.
With an American fridge, five-burner gas hob, a combi microwave / oven and a dishwasher, you enter a luxurious kitchen that is fully equipped. In the storage room is a washing machine. The three bedrooms are all air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan. The house is built on the wind and has mahogany shutter windows. By opening the shutters at night, the wind blows through the bedroom, which ensures a pleasant temperature for a good night’s sleep. In this way it is also not necessary to sleep with air conditioning. The mahogany shutter windows are equipped with mosquito mesh, so it is wonderful to sleep without mosquito nets.
The tropical garden is connected to the adjacent pool area of the villa. The pool area has a floor area of no less than 800 m2, the pool itself has an area of 50 m2 (5 x 10 m) and is 1.5 m deep, filled with crystal clear cooling water. The pool area also has a beautifully landscaped tropical garden full of palm trees.
If desired, you will be picked up from the airport. On arrival, the beds are made and nothing stands in the way of a refreshing dip. If you want to start the holiday in a relaxed way, the breakfast service is an option so that you can enjoy a fresh sandwich, an egg and more delicacies the next morning. We can also arrange car rental, discounts on your diving trip, snorkeling trip, etc. See all options under the menu item “Partners Bonaire” and send us a message with interests.
On arrival you will be shown around the house and our caretaker will remain available 24/7 for any questions during the entire stay.

Between the beginning of January until the beginning of July 2019, the four of us lived in Villa Cas Maya. We have had a great time.The house is spacious, partly due to the high ceilings. We have spent many hours on the porch where you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We found the shared large swimming pool ideal, so you can sometimes meet other people or swim laps.
The contact with Brenda and Dianne was pleasant. For both, the service and guests feel 'at home' is of paramount importance!
We stayed at Cas Maya in October / November and had a great time with our (young) children. There is a lot of space in and around the house which makes it really comfortable, even if you are six people. The pool is cleaned every week and there is a nice playground in the front of the house.
A drive to Kralendijk only takes about 5-10 minutes and there is a great bakery nearby. Both Brenda and the caretaker of the house (Diana) took great care of us.
Only minor thing that were the mosquitoes and small flies called something like 'limpe limpe'. But that is part of life on Bonaire. 😉 There was no wind when we were there (which really never happens!) So it was a bit more of an inconvenience during the day than usual (we've been to Bonaire many times).
Had a great holiday on our own island in Villa Caribbean Dream and the rest of the family in Villa Cas Maya. Super nice people and are always available for questions and if there are problems they are solved quickly. We have all thoroughly enjoyed the luxury villas!

My partner (Ilonka) and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cas Maya. The villa is fully equipped and that is of course a good sign for a relaxing holiday. You do need a means of transport, but this was also perfectly arranged by Brenda.
Villa Cas Maya is highly recommended for a small occupancy (like us) but also for a larger occupancy of up to 6 people. Brenda & Rob, thanks for your hospitality and this could possibly be a reunion with Bonaire.
We have now been at our next destination for two days. We had a great time at Villa Cas Maya! What a comfort and luxury! We actually didn't miss anything except an outdoor shower and potholders (now we made an attempt with the tea towel that didn't survive). And the glasses were scattered, so we only discovered the big glasses the last day. But nothing really worth mentioning .. Thanks for this great experience, we will recommend Villa Cas Maya. Also compliments to Elizé, hospitable and incredibly helpful.

Thanks for the wonderful time in Bonaire, it was a nice end to our adventurous holiday. We very much enjoyed the island and the house. We were unlucky with the scattered arrival and the return of the car, but fortunately this all worked out. The late checkout was very nice for us. I really have nothing to complain about the house. It was wonderful and comfortable. We are going to live in Suriname for a few years for the work of Gert Jan. So I can't rule out that we will come to Bonaire again 🙂

The house is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The pool was great for the kids. It is necessary to rent a car, if you want to go to the beach, center or shop. But Sjaak could help us with this immediately. We had a great time and would love to come back in December!

Villa Caribbean Dream is located in the exclusive park Bona Bista Estate, centrally on the island of Bonaire, only a 5-minute drive from Kralendijk. The park is located in a beautiful rolling area, is accessible via a driveway and equipped with an electrically lockable entrance gate. This holiday villa is a modern built villa with all the associated western comfort, but built with a purely Caribbean appearance and atmosphere.
According to local custom, Caribbean Dream is “built on the wind”, so you can feel a wonderfully cooling trade wind through the opened shutters. All bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. The villa is 210 m2, has a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and toilet. Then there are two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The bedrooms & bathrooms are equipped with mosquitoscreens placed in front of the mahogany shutters and each bed is also equipped with a mosquito net. Furthermore, the villa has a separate toilet, a separate storage room with washing machine, large living room, a fully equipped open kitchen with breakfast bar and of course the large covered porch.
With a total surface area of 755 m2, Caribbean Dream has a spacious and beautifully landscaped tropical garden and several terraces. You can also use a 20 m2 roof terrace with a magnificent 360 degree panoramic view over the ‘kunuku’ in the hills and a view of the coastline, with its cruise ships, on the horizon. On the roof terrace you can enjoy the beautiful Bonairean sunrise and sunset from a lounger!
The tropical garden is connected to the adjacent pool area of the villa. The pool area has a surface of no less than 800 m2, the pool itself has a surface of 50 m2 (5 x 10 m) and is 1.5 m deep, filled with crystal clear cooling water. The pool area also has a beautifully landscaped tropical garden full of palm trees. After swimming, you can relax in the sun under the rain shower outside.
After a long and exciting day of diving or snorkeling, it is possible to rinse and clean your diving equipment on the terrace by the outdoor rain shower. When the equipment is drying, there is plenty of time to relax on the porch before lighting the barbecue and preparing for the outdoor dinner.
Of course you want to get to know the island of Bonaire better during your holiday. There is plenty to see and do! The surface of Bonaire is 288 km2, 39 kilometers long and the widest part is only 12 kilometers.
In that respect, Caribbean Dream is ideally located, nicely centrally located on the island, just outside Kralendijk.
Kralendijk is often considered the center of the island. Here you will find a wide range of shops, cafes, bars, terraces and of course also the best restaurants with different cuisines!

This fresh bakery (the only one on Bonaire) is less than a 2-minute drive from Caribbean Dream, but also here you can place an order online and have freshly baked bread or other delicacies delivered to Caribbean Dream for a delicious fresh breakfast. or lunch.
The Bona Bista Estate, the villa park where Caribbean Dream is located, borders the Kaminda Gurubu, this is the connecting road between the only two towns on Bonaire, direction Kralendijk you simply turn left and Rincon (the original oldest settlement on the island) turn right, after that just straight ahead.
But also, for example, all beaches can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes. Eden Beach and Chogogo Beach are the nearest beaches from Caribbean Dream, a few minutes away by car. There are many different types of Beaches on Bonaire , Eden Beach and Chogogo Beach are of the “relax” type, so sandy beach, sunbeds , beach bar and restaurant.
The sea has two faces on Bonaire. Quiet on the west coast with sandy beaches and rough on the east coast, where the water collides with the rocks with enormous force.
Both sides of the island are definitely worth a look!
And, if you are sporty, Caribbean Dream is located opposite the 123 meter high hill Seru Largu. Also definitely worth going to the top (also by car ).
From the Seru Largu you have a view over all of Bonaire and small Bonaire and in clear weather even over Venezuela and Curaçao.

If desired, you will be picked up from the airport. Suzan will then welcome you at the airport and arrange a taxi for transport to the Villa. On arrival, the beds are made and nothing stands in the way of a refreshing dip. We have a partnership with a car rental company on Bonaire. After booking Caribbean Dream you will receive more information about this. If you want to rent a car for your holiday on Bonaire, it will be handed over to you on arrival at Flamingo Airport, so that you can be at the Villa on your own, within 10 minutes.
We will of course provide a clear route description and our caretaker, your hostess Suzan, will receive you in the Villa.
On arrival you will be shown around the house and Suzan will remain available 24/7 for any questions during the entire stay.

We stayed at Cas Maya in October / November and had a great time with our (young) children. There is a lot of space in and around the house which makes it really comfortable, even if you are six people. The pool is cleaned every week and there is a nice playground in the front of the house.
A drive to Kralendijk only takes about 5-10 minutes and there is a great bakery nearby. Both Brenda and the caretaker of the house (Diana) took great care of us.
Only minor thing that were the mosquitoes and small flies called something like 'limpe limpe'. But that is part of life on Bonaire. 😉 There was no wind when we were there (which really never happens!) So it was a bit more of an inconvenience during the day than usual (we've been to Bonaire many times).
Had a great holiday on our own island in Villa Caribbean Dream and the rest of the family in Villa Cas Maya. Super nice people and are always available for questions and if there are problems they are solved quickly. We have all thoroughly enjoyed the luxury villas!

Villa Cas Maya is highly recommended for a small occupancy (like us) but also for a larger occupancy of up to 6 people. Brenda & Rob, thanks for your hospitality and this could possibly be a reunion with Bonaire.
We have now been at our next destination for two days. We had a great time at Villa Cas Maya! What a comfort and luxury! We actually didn't miss anything except an outdoor shower and potholders (now we made an attempt with the tea towel that didn't survive). And the glasses were scattered, so we only discovered the big glasses the last day. But nothing really worth mentioning .. Thanks for this great experience, we will recommend Villa Cas Maya. Also compliments to Elizé, hospitable and incredibly helpful.

Thanks for the wonderful time in Bonaire, it was a nice end to our adventurous holiday. We very much enjoyed the island and the house. We were unlucky with the scattered arrival and the return of the car, but fortunately this all worked out. The late checkout was very nice for us. I really have nothing to complain about the house. It was wonderful and comfortable. We are going to live in Suriname for a few years for the work of Gert Jan. So I can't rule out that we will come to Bonaire again 🙂

The house is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The pool was great for the kids. It is necessary to rent a car, if you want to go to the beach, center or shop. But Sjaak could help us with this immediately. We had a great time and would love to come back in December!

Between the beginning of January until the beginning of July 2019, the four of us lived in Villa Cas Maya. We have had a great time.The house is spacious, partly due to the high ceilings. We have spent many hours on the porch where you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We found the shared large swimming pool ideal, so you can sometimes meet other people or swim laps.
The contact with Brenda and Dianne was pleasant. For both, the service and guests feel 'at home' is of paramount importance!
