Bonaire International Airport
The airport of Bonaire, Flamingo Airport, is named after the most famous bird of Bonaire: the Caribbean Flamingo. This is reflected in the color of the buildings at the cozy, pleasant airport. The buildings are all painted pink-red. All aircraft types can land at Bonaire airport, including the Boeing 747 and the 787 Dreamliner. This is the latest plane from TUI that has been flying to Bonaire since summer 2014. Various facilities are available at Flamingo Airport. Airport Tax
On Bonaire you have to pay airport tax / departure tax on your departure. Sometimes this tax is already included in your ticket, but this is not always the case. When you fly from Bonaire to Curacao, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Saba or Sint Eustatius the tax is $ 9.00. For any other destination from Bonaire you pay $ 35.00. Do you have children under 2 years old?
